Children's Music Opportunities Handbells We began ringing choirchimes and are now ringing
handbells. This is for children in grades 2 - 5.
They learn to read music, how to use various
techniques of ringing the bells, how to play
rhythms and about the hymns that we ring.
We meet on Tuesdays from 5:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Children's Choirs Joyful Noise Preschool Choir(4 & 5 yr. olds)
led by Gayle Daras, Cindy Daras, Sonya Thurman. This choir meets September through April on
Wednesdays, 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Music Maker and Young Musicians Choir
(gr. 1 - 6) led by Michael Bentley, Judie Beck, Tracey
Lorentzen and Becky Collins. This choir meets September
to April on Wednesdays, 6:00-6:45 p.m. They present a
Christmas and Spring Musical each year as well as sing in the
worship services each semester.
Youth Musical Opportunities Youth Handbell Choir - gr. 6 - 12 (NEW!!!) We rehearse on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 - 5:15 p.m.
Sanctuary Choir is for 9th - 12 grade youth - Adults We rehearse on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Jazz Orchestra is for 7th - 12th grade youth - Adults We rehearse on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 7:35 p.m.

Instrumental Music Opportunities Worship Teams-Guitars, Bass, Drums, Horns, WW,
Keyboard, Organ. This group is open to anyone to
audition. They lead in worship each Sunday morning.
We rehearse on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Jazz Orchestra - If you play an instrument, we have a
place of service for you. This ensemble for students and
adults. We meet on Wednesdays from 7:00 - 7:30 p.m.
The Worship Band plays specials on at least once a month.
Lighthouse Ringers- This group is open to anyone who
would like to learn to ring handbells. You do not have to
know how to read music to ring but it does make it easier.
We have a 4 octave Schulmerich Handbell set. We
rehearse on Tuesday nights from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. This
group plays in the morning worship services.
Choral Music Opportunities Sanctuary Choir-High School students through adults
interested in the Sanctuary Choir are invited to attend a
rehearsal to find out more! You do not have to be an
accomplished soloist or be able to read music to join the
choir! However, you must enjoy singing to the Lord and
have a passion for leading in worship. In addition to singing
each Sunday morning, our Sanctuary Choir presents musical
programs each December and each Spring. The Sanctuary
Choir offers a warm, family atmosphere where you can
experience worship as well as encouragement and prayer
support. The Sanctuary Choir rehearses Wednesday nights
from 7:30- 8:45 p.m.
Praise Team -This group leads worship in our
Sunday morning services. One must be able to read music
and blend in an ensemble to be a part of the group. The
purpose of this group is to lead the congregation in worship
songs that blend with the traditional hymns of our faith.
We rehearse together on Sunday at 4:45 p.m.
Joy Choir- This choir is open to anyone 55 years and
older who enjoy having fun singing. This group meets
once a week on Wednesdays @ 10:00 a.m. from September
to May. They sing in the worship services once a month.
They will also present a Christmas musical and Spring music. Mixed Ensemble- This small group sings in the worship
services a variety of styles of music.
Lighthouse Quartet- comprised of Joey Brown, Jim
Lorentzen, Kevin Purifoy and Michael Bentley.
